Diffusion

What is diffusion?

Diffusion is the net movement of particles from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration, down a concentration gradient. It is a passive process, so it does not need energy from respiration.

Why I built 9science

Hi, I'm Dr Binu Wickremasinghe. I built 9science after seeing how hard it is for students to find science practice that actually matches their exam board — and explains the reasoning behind every answer, not just whether they got the mark.
